Barumini
For those who love ancient history we recommend to visit the splendid "nuraghi" of Sardinia, the typical ancient buildings of the island.
Next to the country of Barumini it is possible to admire the Nuraghe "Su Nuraxi", one of the most famous and important archaeological sites of Sardinia. Around the nuraghe a large village of huts is developed.
How to reach the archaeological site of Barumini:
Departing from Cagliari S.S. n.131 Charles Felice, you'll find the way for the country of Barumini at about the Km 41, after 20 Kms. Then cross the road following the direction to Tuili; drive for about 1 Km and you'll finally reach the Nuragic site.

The nuraghe in the hinterland are actually dense: on the Sa Guardia Mongiasa hill, quite near the town, there are some rests of a small nuraghe.
